Vandanajyoti has 24 years of meditation experience and been an ordained Buddhist since 2003.
For many years, she worked as a music teacher and teacher trainer in London comprehensive schools and colleges of education. A fascination with how we learn and change led her to train in the Alexander Technique which she continues to study and teach.
Seeing how meditation and more subtle awareness of the body helps to re-educate our whole selves, including emotions and feelings, has led her to teach Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) at Breathing Space.
In addition she works as an education adviser to consultant doctors in the NHS and hostel wardens in India, supporting their desire for change and growth.
