Weekly drop-in classes at Breathing SpacePicture of someone after meditating

Breathing Space runs weekly drop-in classes for people who have completed a Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) course or a Mindfulness Based Relapse Prevention (MBRP) course. These classes can help you refresh your memory about the practices and techniques you learnt on your course. Keeping up a regular practice in this way can be very helpful in preventing repeated relapses into depression - helping you to stay well.

What happens at the Breathing Space weekly drop-in

We start with a cup of tea and an informal chat. Then, we'll do a guided meditation together - like the ones you learnt on your Breathing Space course. You'll get a chance to talk about how this went and ask our teachers questions.

Where, when and who

The weekly drop-in classes are held at Breathing Space every Monday evening from 7.15 to 9pm. To join this class, you need to have completed a Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) course or Mindfulness Based Relapse Prevention (MBRP) course at Breathing Space. There is no need to book.

How much

£6 full wage, £4 low wage, £2 unwaged. Free for people awarded free places on MBCT courses through funding from Tower Hamlets Social Services.
