A practical and nourishing workshop exploring what it really means to eat mindfully
Join us for a practical and nourishing workshop exploring what it really means to eat mindfully — to slow down, pay attention, and experience food through all of our senses. Together we’ll take time to notice the many sensations involved in hunger, eating, and satisfaction, and explore how mindful awareness can transform the way we relate to food.
During the session we’ll look at eye hunger, touch hunger, ear hunger, nose hunger, mouth hunger, stomach hunger, cellular hunger, mind hunger, and heart hunger, and there will be three guided opportunities to eat mindfully. This offers a chance to discover new insights into our habits and patterns around food, and to develop a kinder, more spacious relationship to eating.
Please note:
This workshop isn’t suitable for anyone with an eating disorder or for anyone currently seeking professional help regarding their relationship to food and eating. We say this with care, as these situations need the specialist support they deserve.
