Resilience is not about gritting our teeth to muster the strength to get through another day, yet this is a tactic many of us unhelpfully adopt! Resilience Training is about turning towards difficulty and extending our window of tolerance to stress by cultivating a kindly awareness. You will learn how to cultivate resilience in this workshop by paying attention to the breath and body. You will understand how to meet challenge with courage, and be equipped with helpful tools to manage anxiety and stress.

Dharmavartin
Dharmavartin first discovered the Buddha’s teachings at the age of 18, and discovered the London Buddhist Centre in 2012. He has been a firefighter in London for 30 years. He says, “I have used the Three Minute Breathing Space at work, before having to communicate effectively in meetings. It’s a useful and quick way to become grounded and effective in the world.”
